Herefordshire: The byelection in Whitecross ward held on 11 July was won by Dave Boulter, husband of Sue Boulter who won but was disqualified in May. The seat is held for the ‘It’s Our County’ group.
Changes of allegiance
Arun: Ian Buckland, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in River ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
West Sussex: Heidi Brunsdon, who was elected for the Conservatives in Imberdown division, has been expelled from the party and is sitting as an Independent Conservative. Andrew Lea (Lindfield and High Weald division) has also been suspended for six months. It is also noted that Ian Buckland, elected for the Liberal Democrats in Littlehampton Town division, is now sitting as an Independent councillor.

Aberdeen: Bridge of Don ward, after the death of Scottish National Party councillor Sandy Stuart. Term ends 2022.

Corporation of London: Sir Charles Bowman has surrendered the office of Alderman for the Ward of Lime Street. He intends to seek re-election. Term ends 2025.
Corporation of London: Sir Andrew Parmley has surrendered the office of Alderman for the Ward of Vintry. He intends to seek re-election. Term ends 2025.
Rutland: Ryhall and Casterton ward, after the disqualification of Independent councillor Chris Parsons who did not sign a declaration of acceptance of office within two months of the election. Term ends 2023.

Corporation of London: The wardmote for the election of an Alderman for Lime Street will be held on 6 August and the poll on 7 August.
