The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Bradford: The byelection in Bolton and Undercliffe ward on 7 February was won by Rachel Sunderland who returns to the council nine months after losing her seat. Liberal Democrat gain from Labour.
Buckinghamshire: The byelection for a county councillor in Totteridge and Bowerdean division on 7 February was won by Israr Rashid. Although he was on the ballot paper as the Labour Party candidate, he had been suspended from the party shortly before polling day and will therefore serve as an Independent county councillor. He gained his seat from the East Wycombe Independents.
Lambeth: The byelection in Thornton ward on 7 February was won by Stephen Donnelly. Labour hold.
Tower Hamlets: The byelection in Lansbury ward on 7 February was won by Rajib Ahmed, who returns to the seat he stood down from in May last year. Labour hold.
Tower Hamlets: The byelection in Shadwell ward on 7 February was won by Harun Miah, who regains a seat he lost last May. Aspire gain from Labour.
Wokingham: The byelection in Evendons ward on 7 February was won by Sarah Kerr. Liberal Democrat hold.
Nottinghamshire: David Martin, who was elected as an Independent in Selston division, has joined the Ashfield Independents group.
Redcar and Cleveland: Steve Kay, who was elected as an East Cleveland Independent councillor for Lockwood ward, has joined the Independent group.
Rhondda Cynon Taf: Two members of the Conservative group have left to sit as Independent councillors. They are Mike Diamond (Llantwit Fadre division) and Kate Libby Jones (Pontyclun division).
Richmondshire: The Richmondshire Independents are now known as Putting Richmondshire First.
Staffordshire Moorlands: Gail Lockett, who was elected for the Conservatives in Leek South ward, is now sitting as a non-aligned councillor.
Kensington and Chelsea: Dalgarno ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Robert Thompson. Term ends 2022.
Mansfield: Grange Farm ward, after the disqualification of Mansfield Independent Forum councillor Ron Jelley. His term would have ended in May so no byelection can be held.
Ribble Valley: Waddington and West Bradford ward, after the resignation of Democratic Conservative councillor Paul Elms, who was originally elected for the Conservative Party. As his term was due to end in May, no byelection will be held.
Rother: Bexhill St Mark’s ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Tom Graham. His term was due to end in May so no byelection will follow.
Staffordshire Moorlands: Cheadle South East ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Deb Grocott. The term would have ended in May so there will be no byelection.
Thurrock: Aveley and Uplands ward, after the resignation of Thurrock Independent councillor Tim Aker, who was elected for the UK Independence Party. Term ends 2022.
Dates for byelections
Clackmannanshire: The byelection due in Clackmannanshire Central ward will be held on 28 March.
Croydon: The byelection due in Norbury and Pollards Hill ward will be held on 14 March.
Edinburgh: The byelection due in Leith Walk ward will be held on 11 April.
