The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • Enfield: The byelection in Bush Hill Park ward held on 22 November was won by James Hockney. Conservative hold.
  • Westminster: The byelection in Lancaster Gate ward held on 22 November was won by Margot Bright. Conservative hold.
  • Windsor and Maidenhead: The byelection in Datchet ward held on 22 November was won by David Cannon. Conservative hold.
  • Wirral: The byelection in Upton ward held on 22 November was won by Jean Robinson. Labour hold.

Changes of allegiance

New vacancies

  • Buckinghamshire: Totteridge and Bowerdean division, after the death of East Wycombe Independent councillor Chaudhary Ditta. Term ends 2021 (but is likely to be shortened to 2020).
  • Kirklees: Birstall and Birkenshaw ward, after the resignation of veteran Conservative councillor Robert Light. As his term was due to end in May, there will be no byelection.
  • Wychavon: Harvington and Norton ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Charlie Homer. His term was due to end in May so he will not be replaced in a byelection.
  • Wychavon: Lovett and North Claines ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Lynne Duffy. Her term was due to end in May so he will not be replaced in a byelection.
