Portsmouth: Jim Fleming, who was elected for the Conservatives in Cosham ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Rochdale: Richard Farnell, who was elected for the Labour Party in Balderstone and Kirkholt ward but had the whip suspended in April, has been readmitted.
Stockport: Kenny Blair, who was elected for the Conservatives in Marple South and High Lane ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Tendring: Two councillors have returned to the UK Independence Party, for which they were elected, after a period as non-aligned. They are Peter Cawthron and Alex Porter (both Alton Park ward).
Charnwood: Birstall Wanlip ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Renata Jones. Term ends May next year.
Nottingham: Clifton North ward, after the resignation of Independent councillor Pat Ferguson who was originally elected for the Labour Party. Term ends May next year.
Salford: Eccles ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Peter Wheeler who is moving out of the borough. Term ends 2020.
Suffolk Coastal: Wenhaston and Westleton ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Raymond Catchpole. Term ends May next year.
