The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Chichester: The byelection in Rogate ward on 12 April was won by Kate O’Kelly. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
Epping Forest: When nominations closed for the byelection in Moreton and Fyfield ward, only one candidate had been nominated. Accordingly Ian Hadley was declared duly elected unopposed on 6 April and there will be no poll on 3 May. Conservative hold.
St Edmundsbury: The byelection in St Olaves ward on 12 April was won by Max Clarke. Labour hold.
Babergh: Two councillors have left the Conservative group to join the Independent Conservatives. They are Melanie Barrett (Nayland ward) and Michael Holt (Glemsford and Stanstead ward).
Croydon: Donald Speakman, who was elected for the Conservatives in Purley ward, has left the party to become an Independent councillor, and is standing for re-election in the new Purley and Woodcote ward as an Independent candidate.
Hambleton: Claire Palmer, who was elected in Northallerton South ward for the UK Independence Party, has joined the Yorkshire Party.
New Forest: Fawley, Blackfield and Langley ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Bob Wappet. Term ends 2019.
North Kesteven: Kirkby La Thorpe and South Kyme ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Julia Harrison due to ill health. Term ends 2019.
Dates for byelections
Bristol: The byelection due in Westbury-on-Trym and Henleaze ward will be held on 24 May.
Horsham: The byelection due in Cowfold, Shermanbury and West Grinstead ward will be held on 24 May.
North Kesteven: The byelection due in Kirkby La Thorpe and South Kyme ward will be held on 24 May.
Oldham: There will be a double vacancy election in Hollinwood ward on 3 May.
