The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Adur: The byelection in Mash Barn ward on 5 October was won by Lee Cowen. Labour gain from the UK Indepdendence Party (who did not nominate a candidate).
Hertsmere: The byelection in Borehamwood Kenilworth ward on 5 October was won by Jeremy Newmark. Labour gain from Conservative.
Hinckley and Bosworth: The byelection in Burbage, Sketchley and Stretton ward on 5 October was won by David MacDonald. Conservative hold.
Redcar and Cleveland: The byelection in St Germain’s ward on 5 October was won by Debbie Dowson. Liberal Democrat hold.
Salford: The byelection in Claremont ward on 5 October was won by Mike Pevitt. Labour hold.
South Bucks: The byelection in Burnham Lent Rise and Taplow ward on 5 October was won by Matt Bezzant. Conservative hold.
Warwick: The byelection in Stoneleigh and Cubbington ward on 5 October was won by Trevor Wright. Conservative hold.
Changes of allegiance
Allerdale: David Wilson, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Aspatria ward, has left the party to sit as an non-party councillor.
Boston: Two councillors elected for the UK Independence Party have joined the Conservatives. They are Jonathan Noble (Fishtoft ward) and Yvonne Stevens (Trinity ward).
East Lindsey: Susan Blackburn, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Skegness Winthorpe ward, has joined the Conservative Party.
Maldon: Beverley Acevedo, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Althorne ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Scarborough: Sam Cross, who was elected as a UK Independence Party candidate in Filey ward, has left the party and will now be an Independent councillor.
Tendring: In the latest round of allegiance changes on the council, Jeff Bray (Little Clacton and Weeley ward) and Richard Everett (Rush Green ward), previously in the Independent Alliance, have joined the Conservative group. Andrew Pemberton (Peter Bruff ward) has left the UK Independence Party group and now sits as ungrouped.

Cotswold: Grumbolds Ash with Avening ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Jim Parsons. Term ends 2019.
East Hampshire: Petersfield Bell Hill ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Thomas Spencer. Term ends 2019.
Eden: Penrith North ward, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Robin Howse due to ill health. Term ends 2019.
Fylde: Staining and Weeton ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Albert Pounder. Term ends 2019.
Gosport: Bridgemary North ward, after the death of Labour councillor Jill Wright. Term ends 2020.
Herefordshire: Bishops Frome and Cradley ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Patricia Morgan who is embarking on a circumnavigation of the globe. Term ends 2019.
High Peak: Limestone Peak ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Daren Robins. Term ends 2019.
Leicester: Eyres Monsell ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Rory Palmer, now Member of the European Parliament for the East Midlands. Term ends 2019.
Stroud: Chalford ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Elizabeth Peters. Term ends 2019.
Tameside: Droylsden East ward, after the resignation of veteran Labour councillor Jim Middleton. Term ends 2020.

Darlington: The byelection due in Mowden ward will be held on 16 November.
Eden: The byelection due in Penrith North ward will be held on 16 November.
Fareham: The byelection due in Stubbington ward will be held on 9 November.
Flintshire: The byelection due in Buckley Bistre West division will be held on 9 November.
Fylde: The byelection due in Staining and Weeton ward will be held on 16 November.
Perth and Kinross: The byelection due in Perth City South ward will be held on 23 November.
Tameside: The byelection due in Droylsden East ward will be held on 26 October.
Wandsworth: The byelection due in Thamesfield ward will be held on 9 November.
West Lindsey: The byelection due in Sudbrooke ward will be held on 16 November.
Corrigendum
Darlington: Bill Stenson, whose resignation in Mowden ward was reported last week, was a Conservative councillor.
