The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Cheshire West and Chester: The byelection in Blacon ward on 20 April was won by Ben Powell. Labour hold.
Harrow: The byelection in Kenton East ward on 20 April was won by Nitesh Hirani. Conservative gain from Labour.
Richmondshire: When nominations closed for the byelection in Reeth and Arkengathdale, only one candidate had been nominated; Ian Scott has therefore been elected unopposed and there will be no poll on 18 May. Conservative gain from Independent.

Merton: David Dean, who was elected for the Conservative Party in Dundonald ward but was reported to have been expelled from the party in January, has been readmitted to the Conservative group.
Rugby: A husband and wife pair of councillors who were elected as Independents in Dunsmore ward have joined the Conservative group. They are Howard Roberts and Deepah Roberts. The move gives the Conservatives an overall majority on the council (although it is also noted that Nigel Allen of Hillmorton ward has left the Conservative group).
Shepway: Len Laws, who was elected for the UK Independence Party in Walland and Denge Marsh ward and was the group leader, has left the party to sit as an Independent councillor.
Taunton Deane: Gwil Wren, who was elected for the Conservative Party in Milverton and North Dean ward, has left the party over the decision to hold a referendum on EU membership.

Ashford: Victoria ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Harold Apps. Term ends 2019.
Cornwall: Bodmin St Petroc division, after the death of Liberal Democrat councillor Steve Rogerson. With full council elections due on 4 May there will be no byelection, but the council election will be postponed.

Salford: The byelection due in Claremont ward will be held on 8 June.
Southend-on-Sea: The byelection due in Shoeburyness ward will be held on 25 May.

Cornwall: The election due on 4 May in Bodmin St Petroc division has been postponed after the death of Steve Rogerson, who had been nominated as the Liberal Democrat candidate.
