The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Guildford: The byelection in Ash South and Tongham ward on 3 December was won by Andrew Gomm. Conservative hold.
Malvern Hills: The byelection in Teme Valley ward on 3 December was won by Caroline Palethorpe. Conservative hold.
Newham: The byelection in Boleyn ward on 3 December was won by Veronica Oakeshott. Labour hold.
Shropshire: The byelection in Meole division on 3 December was won by Nic Laurens. Conservative hold.
South Kesteven: The byelection in Belvoir ward on 3 December was won by Hannah Westropp. Conservative hold.

Ashfield: A new Ashfield Independents group has been formed by Jason Zadrozny (Larwood ward), a former Liberal Democrat re-elected with no description in 2015. The other members of the group are Tom Hollis (Ashfields ward) and Rachel Madden (Annesley and Kirkby Woodhouse ward) who have both left the Liberal Democrats.
Aylesbury Vale: Tom Hunter-Watts, who was elected for the Conservatives in Bedgrove ward, has left the party over the decision to launch airstrikes in Syria. He will sit as an Independent councillor.

Broxtowe: Greasley ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Stuart Rowland. Term ends 2019.
North East Lincolnshire: East Marsh ward, after the resignation of UK Independence Party councillor Becci Bishell (as announced in September). As her term would have ended next May, there will be no byelection for a replacement.
Shropshire: Oswestry South division, after the resignation of Conservative councillor and outgoing council leader Keith Barrow who has been found to have broken the Code of Conduct. Term ends 2017.
Southwark: Faraday ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Dan Garfield following a criminal conviction. Term ends 2018.

Cornwall: The byelection due in Launceston Central division will be held on 14 January 2016.
South Lanarkshire: The byelection due in Hamilton North and East ward will be held on 21 January 2016.
Southwark: The byelection due in Faraday ward will be held on 21 January 2016.
