The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

  • Haringey: The byelection in Noel Park ward on 17 September was won by Stephen Mann. Labour hold.
  • Haringey: The byelection in Woodside ward on 17 September was won by Peter Mitchell. Labour hold.
  • Richmondshire: The byelection in Richmond East ward on 17 September was won by Louise Dickens (grand-daughter of former Conservative MP Geoffrey Dickens). Conservative hold.
  • South Ayrshire: The byelection in Ayr East ward on 17 September was won by John Wallace. Scottish National Party hold.
  • South Cambridgeshire: The byelection in Bourn ward on 17 September was won by Simon Crocker. Conservative hold.

  • Barrow-in-Furness: Risedale ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Lesley Graham who has been appointed as public health locality manager. Term ends 2019.
  • Hampshire: Chandlers Ford division, after the resignation of Conservative county councillor Colin Davidovitz. Term ends 2017.
  • Oxford: Northfield Brook ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Scott Seamons who has been appointed as policy advisor to the Treasury. Term ends 2018.
  • Rochford: Rochford ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Gillian Lucas-Gill. Term ends May next year.
  • St Helens: Thatto Heath ward, after the death of Labour councillor Sheila Seddon. Term ends May next year.

  • Colchester: The byelection due in Dedham and Langham ward will be held on 22 October.
  • Hampshire: The byelection due in Chandlers Ford division will be held on 22 October.
  • Oxford: The byelection due in Northfield Brook ward will be held on 22 October.
  • Peterborough: The byelection due in West ward will be held on 29 October.
  • South Oxfordshire: The byelection due in Sonning Common ward will be held on 22 October.
