  • Bridgend: The byelection in Newcastle division on 7 May was won by Neelo Farr. Labour hold.
  • Cambridgeshire: The byelection in Whittlesey North division on 7 May was won by Chris Boden. Conservative hold.

  • Sutton: The byelection in Wallington South ward will be held on 11 June.

Postponed polls

  • Christchurch: The election in North Highcliffe and Walkford ward due on 7 May, was postponed to 18 June after the death of a candidate.
  • Kettering: The election in Rothwell ward, which was postponed from 7 May after the death of a candidate, will take place on 4 June.
  • Mole Valley: The election in Holmwoods ward due on 7 May, has been postponed to 18 June following the death of outgoing Liberal Democrat councillor Mick Longhurst. The ward will elect two councillors as another ward councillor, Stephen Musgrove (UK Independence Party), resigned his seat.
