The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Epping Forest: The byelection in Epping Hemnall ward on 25 September was won by Kim Adams. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
Guildford: The byelection in Lovelace ward on 25 September was won by Colin Cross. Liberal Democrat gain from Conservative.
Somerset: The byelection in Frome North division on 25 September was won by Linda Oliver. Conservative gain from Liberal Democrat.

Bury: Two councillors have left the Labour group to sit as Independents. Matt Bailey and Daisy Bailey, who are married, represent Radcliffe East ward, and made their move after Matt Bailey was deselected as candidate for the ward in 2015.
Fareham: Geoff Fazackarley, who was elected for the Liberal Democrats in Portchester East ward, has joined the Conservative Party.
Great Yarmouth: Sue Hacon, who was elected for the Conservative Party in Bradwell South and Hopton ward, has joined the UK Independence Party.
Havering: The Havering Residents’ Group has split, with the leader Clarence Barrett and seven others forming the East Havering Residents’ Group. The new group consists of councillors from Cranham, Harold Wood and Upminster wards, and has formed a coalition with the Conservatives which will have a majority on the council.
Isle of Wight: Charles Chapman (Ryde South ward) has left the Island Independent group to sit as ‘an Independent member’.
St Albans: Steve Bowes-Phipps, who was elected for the Conservatives in Park Street ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent following the government’s decision to approve the controversial Radlett rail freight terminal in his ward.
Wandsworth: Malcolm Grimston, who was elected for the Conservatives in West Hill ward, has left the party to sit as an Independent. He is concerned at plans for Southfields Library in his ward.

Argyll and Bute: South Kintyre ward, after the resignation of Scottish National Party councillor John Semple. Term ends 2017.
Derbyshire: Alport and Derwent division, after the resignation of Conservative county councillor Martin Tomlinson. Term ends 2017.
East Riding of Yorkshire: Howdenshire ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Doreen Engall. Term ends May next year.
East Riding of Yorkshire: Willerby and Kirk Ella ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Angela Ibson. Term ends May next year.
Oxford: Blackbird Leys ward, after the resignation of Labour councillor Val Smith. Term ends 2016.
Oxfordshire: Leys division, after the resignation of Labour councillor Val Smith. Term ends 2017.
South Oxfordshire: Goring ward, after the death of Conservative councillor and council leader Ann Ducker. Term ends in May next year.
Thurrock: Aveley and Uplands ward, after the death of UK Independence Party councillor Maggie O’Keeffe-Ray. Term ends 2018.

Cornwall: The byelection due in Mevagissey division will be held on 6 November.
Rugby: The byelection due in Bilton ward will be held on 6 November.
Telford and Wrekin: The byelection due in Ironbridge Gorge ward will be held on 30 October.
Telford and Wrekin: The byelection due in Newport West ward will be held on 30 October.
