The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.

Results

Bolsover: The byelection in South Normanton East ward on 14 August was won by Tracey Cannon. Labour hold.
Lambeth: The byelection in Knight’s Hill ward on 14 August was won by Sonia Winifred, who was re-elected; she had left her role as a teaching assistant following her disqualification. Labour hold.

Bolton: Mudasir Dean, who was elected for the Conservatives in Bradshaw ward, has been suspended from group membership in a dispute over claims he was present at a budget meeting while behind with council tax payments.
Windsor and Maidenhead: Peter Lawless, who was elected for the Conservatives in Eton Wick ward, has resigned from the Conservative group after he pleaded guilty to benefits offences.

Cardiff: Llandaff North division, after the resignation of Labour councillor Siobhan Corria. Term ends 2017.
Conwy: Abergele Pensarn division, after the resignation of Labour councillor Jean Stubbs. Term ends 2017.
Conwy: Towyn division, after the death of Conservative councillor William Knightly. Term ends 2017.
Midlothian: Midlothian East ward, after the resignation of Peter Boyes due to ill health. Boyes had been elected for the Labour Party but had left the party in August 2013. Term ends 2017.
Mid Sussex: Haywards Heath Lucastes ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Tim Farmer. Term ends 2015.
North Ayrshire: North Coast ward, after the death of Scottish National Party councillor Alex McLean. Term ends 2017.
Rugby: Bilton ward, as of 31 August when Conservative councillor Craig Humphrey will resign his seat. He has been appointed managing director of Coventry and Warwickshire Clearing House. Term ends 2016.
Thurrock: West Thurrock and South Stifford ward, after the death of Labour councillor and former leader Andy Smith. Term ends 2018.
Vale of White Horse: Abingdon Dunmore ward, after the resignation of Liberal Democrat councillor Julia Bricknell. Term ends 2015.

Conwy: The byelection due in Abergele Pensarn division will take place on 18 September.
Guildford: The byelection due in Lovelace ward will take place on 25 September.
Haringey: The byelection due in Woodside ward will take place on 2 October.
Vale of White Horse: The byelection due in Abingdon Dunmore ward will take place on 11 September.

Walsall: At a council meeting on 11 August a resolution was passed to remove the Conservative leader and elect the Labour group leader Sean Coughlan as Leader of the council. Labour will lead an administration with half of the council seats.
