The latest updates on local electoral information are as follows.
Results
Amber Valley: The poll in Swanwick ward, postponed from 22 May to 26 June, was won by David Wilson. Conservative hold.
Barnet: The poll in Colindale ward, postponed from 22 May to 26 June, was won by Nagus Narenthira, Gill Sargeant and Zakia Zubairi. Three Labour holds.
Thanet: Kim Gibson, elected for the Labour Party in Nethercourt ward, has joined the Thanet Independent Group. John Worrow, elected for the Conservatives in Birchington South ward but who subsequently left them and was briefly a member of the Thanet Independent Group, has now joined the Labour group.
New vacancies
Epping Forest: Epping Hemnall ward, after the death of Conservative councillor Kenneth Avey. Term ends 2015.
Newham: Beckton ward after the death of veteran Labour councillor Alec Kellaway. Term ends 2018.
Rother: Darwell ward, after the resignation of Conservative councillor Bob White. Term ends 2015.
Worthing: Castle ward after the disqualification of Liberal Democrat councillor David Potter, who has not attended any meetings of the council in six months. Term ends 2016.
Dates for byelections
Blackpool: The byelection due in Clifton ward will take place on 24 July.
Charnwood: The byelection due in Thurmaston ward will take place on 31 July.
Doncaster: The byelection due in Edenthorpe, Kirk Sandall and Barnby Dun ward will take place on 24 July.
Flintshire: The byelection due in Mostyn division will be held on 31 July.
Merthyr Tydfil: The byelection due in Penydarren division will be held on 31 July.
Reading: The byelection due in Southcote ward will take place on 24 July.
Rother: The byelection due in Darwell ward will take place on 31 July.
Worthing: The byelection due in Castle ward will take place on 7 August.
