Liberal Democrat candidate Jason Zadrozny has won the Sutton-in-Ashfield North division on Nottinghamshire county council from Labour, with a massive majority.
In the other byelection last night, Liberal Democrat Jack Saltman followed his party colleague Hugh Ashton in the Claygate byelection to Elmbridge borough council in Surrey.
