Contains most of the Lake District, plus the town of Kendal. Also includes Sedbergh, formerly in Yorkshire, and Ulverston in Furness, birthplace of Stan Laurel.

There are byelections on 6 May in Broughton and Coniston, Furness Peninsula, Grange and Kendal Rural ward (held by two Conservatives and two Liberal Democrats respectively). Elections due in 2021 have been postponed by a year to allow a consultation on unitary local government in Cumbria.
