Furness Independent councillors 3. Manufacturing town in south Cumbria, with many defence connections (Vickers) manufacturing submarines.

The council will be abolished on 1 April 2023 and included in Westmorland and Furness unitary council. Three Conservatives formed the Furness Independent councillors group in March 2022. Dalton South has a vacant seat (held by Labour).
